Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog, it's me Sia here today! We are a couple of days (at the time of writing this) into our new school year and we realized us dolls don't have a key for our lockers! That is why today I am going to show you how to make one, so lets get started!

Here is a photo of me with our mini doll Cornelia with everything you will need and that is thin card (you could use a cereal box and glue plain paper on each side), pencil, scissors and any type of wool/ribbon/string!

First you want to draw a key shape that you like onto your piece of card!

Then, you can cut it out and trace it for as many keys you would like! We wanted to make 6 as there is 6 of us so we traced it 5 more times, we only traced they key part which goes into the lock and we drew the square part again for each key as that was what we found easiest but you can do it any way you like!

Then you want to shade over your keys to make them the right colour but only do it lightly so that you can still see the pencil lines for the main shape!

You will also want to shade the other side otherwise one side would be white and one grey/silver!

Then, you can cut them all out! We carefully coloured the one we used for a template as well!

Then, carefully using blu-tack and a pencil, you can put a hole in the top of every key, this is for the string/wool/ribbon!

Then, you want to cut enough pieces of wool for every key about this long!

Then, you thread it through the hole tie a knot and your key is done! I hope your dolls are having a lovely back to school season and I wish you and your dolls good luck for the coming school year!
