Sia: Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog, it's me Sia here today and I love science! Today I am here to show you my science equipment which I use for making circuits! And remember, you should always be careful when doing science and if it is something like this, you will most likely only be able to do it in a lab with a scientist who knows how to safely use them. So, now it's time for me to show you what equipment I have!

Sia: First, there are bulbs and they produce light when connected in a circuit!

Sia: Next up, we have cells, these are called a battery if they are in a circuit with more than one next to each other and they have the chemical energy to power whatever is in the circuit (e.g. a bulb)!

Sia: Next up, we have an ammeter and this measures the current of the circuit in amps!

Sia: Last but not least, these are my cables- what I use to connect all of the components in my circuits!

Sia: The first circuit I made is called a series circuit and is simple with one blub, cell and the ammeter to measure the current!

Sia: Next up is another series circuit! This one has 3 cells (now a battery) with a bulb! This means the bulb will be brighter and the current will be higher compared to the first circuit I created!

Sia: Now we have another series circuit with 3 bulbs and a cell! The current will be roughly the same as the first circuit but the bulbs will be dimmer as there are more of them but still only one cell compared to the first circuit!

Sia: Last but not least, we have a parallel circuit! This includes a cell, ammeter and two bulbs! This is called a parallel circuit because if one of the bulbs broke and couldn't light up the other one still could which is different to a series circuit because in series if one bulb broke it would have a break in the circuit so the other bulbs wouldn't be able to light up!
I hope you enjoyed my science post, I had lots of fun writing it! Bye for now everyone!
